Khaan mckennai was an oviraptorosaur theropod from the Late Cretaceous of Mongolia. Like other oviraptors, Khaan would have been winged, and probably laid eggs in ground nests that one or more parents sat in and protected. This skeletal is based on IGM 100/1002, a particularly complete subadult individual that was missing only the middle and back of the tail.
