An early, small-bodied member of the tyrannosaur lineage from the Early Cretaceous of the Isle of Wight, England. Unlike its later giant relatives, Eotyrannus retained long arms with well-developed grasping hands. The type (and only known) specimen, MIWG1997.550, is tantalizing but somewhat fragmentary, so only the known elements have been shown here.
