A small basal relative of horned dinosaurs from the Early Cretaceous of Gansu, China. Growing to around 1.2 meters/4 feet in length, its skull had a small crest at the back, and pointy cheek bosses, although it was otherwise hornless. Small relatives of horned dinosaurs have been suggested to have lived in enlarged burrows or dens when not out foraging for food.
