A Middle Triassic aphanosaur and one of the earliest-diverging bird-line archosaurs (an avemetatarsalian, close to dinosaur origins but not itself a dinosaur). Teleocrater was a lightly built quadruped that still retained a crocodylian-style ankle, showing that early dinosaur relatives weren’t all small bipeds.
